Carnival season started early for us this year when we were invited to perform at Mitcham’s largest ever Carnival in June.
There was a riot of colour and happy commotion as the procession wound its way through the town centre, and Star and Moon could be spotted floating above and interacting with the crowd.
What really surprised us is how many people recognised our stellar ladies from their prize performance at this year’s New Year’s Day Parade. They might have swapped their wintery fur for more seasonal floaty attire, but their trademark elegance and glamour clearly shone through as always.
It was a thoroughly joyous and friendly occasion on which fun was had by young and old.
